SCHWARTZ GIVES BACK!
Something President Obama said last week got me to thinking. I don't have the exact quote but
it was basically that it doesn't take a lot to make a difference - if everyone could give just a little bit to those with
less, we'd all be better off. Shereen and I always
try to donate to various charitable organizations when we're asked but it seems to me that the best way to do it would
be to make it a structured thing. So effective immediately,
every time I am paid a Real Estate Commission for helping someone to buy or sell a house, I will be donating a minimum of
$35 to Habitat for Humanity. I figured that it's a great place to provide some help. Since I earn my living helping people
buy and sell houses, I will focus my giving on the organization that helps less fortunate families realize their dream of
having a home. |
